Marti's work can be found in numerous public and private collections worldwide. Her work has been
featured in such national publications as "New Art International - 2005", "The Best of Oil Artists and
Artisans - 2007", "Art Business News" magazine and her work has recently been chosen for inclusion in
"New Art International 2009-2010".
She has designed stained glass windows for a North Texas Episcopal church and she has been invited
to judge area art shows and been guest demonstrator for local art associations. She works and
teaches out of her own studio in North Central Texas, just west of Fort Worth, in Weatherford. For the
summer 2009, Marti will be teaching oil painting classes at "The Workshop" in Weatherford, TX.
Currently, Marti lives in the country with her husband. Her two grown daughters and their families live
nearby and her grandchildren often provide inspiration and subjects for her portraits. She loves to
garden and enjoys the ever wondrous miracle of "growing things". Florals are a favorite genre as well
as the fauna in her world.
