Debbie Malone Runaway Bay, TX
|
Debbie discovered stained glass on a family vacation and was fascinated by it. She talked about it
so much that for her next birthday, friends gave her some glass and tools to get started. Her
interest grew from there and, unable to find a class in stained glass, she taught herself. She
realized that it was a combination of textures, colors, shapes and light that all played a vital part in
the beauty of a finished work of art. She creates one of a kind pieces of stained glass and has also
begun interpreting her visions in paintings. She teaches a variety of glass art classes as well as
other mediums and participates in shows and competitions around the state.
Debbie is a charter member of the Texas Glass Artists Association and currently holds the position
of parliamentarian in the WCAA.
