She began painting only a few years ago as a new hobby in 2003 under direction from Barbara
Pinkerton of Decatur, TX, and Bennie Wood of Fort Worth, TX. Her favorite mediums are watercolor and
pastel. She has just began entering her art into area art shows and won several awards for her work.
Terri has recently taken an interest in stained glass and fused glass jewelry under the direction of
Debbie Malone of Runaway Bay, TX.
Terri was born in Cincinnati, Ohio but moved to Dallas, TX. At the age of 5 (so she is a Texan.) She
married Joe Bishop in September 1989 and they moved to Decatur, TX. in 1997 to get out of the city.
Terri is an Independent Sales Rep for Avon and manages Joe's home business and their Polo horse
ranch in Decatur, TX. (Sadly, Terri lost her dear husband, Joe, in the spring of 2009 due to cancer.) She
loves the outdoors, gardening, her grandchildren and her Pups- Ange, Reggie, Daisy Mae and Ringo
Starr.
